If our FAQ does not meet your requirements and there are questions you have that aren’t answered regarding our Wedding Video Production, please pop us an email with your question/s so we can clarify any doubts you may have.
What is your turn around time?
Approximately 8 – 12 weeks from your wedding day.
Who picks the music?
Because of copyright laws that restrict from using commercial music, we will select the music as per our creative process. The music we select are by indie artists and add to our couples film as opposed to becoming a main feature of the film. The best part is the we will use is fully-licensed and neither of us are at risk of being potentially sued.
Do you provide the raw files?
The short answer is no. Why? Well, we feel unless you’re a filmmaker the +/- 400 gigs of raw footage will just get lost on a hard drive in your garage. Besides this, you already have all the memories polished to perfection.
How do you deliver the final video?
We deliver the final wedding film (video) on a Bayside 9 branded flash drive with easy to playback file formats that work across most media devices. We also upload your main montage to our YouTube/Vimeo Channel to share with your friends and family. If you’d like us to upload your ceremony and reception, we can do that too.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes. All our packages are excluding travel costs. We charge A$1.20 per kilometer traveled to our clients locations from our offices in Lavender Bay. To simplify matters, we cover tolls to the value of A$20.00 per shoot.
Do you shoot internationally?
Yes we do! And we only fly business class – only kidding! All expenses including visa costs, flights, food, accommodation, internal travel and a small percentage of our day rate is charged separately to the wedding package of your choice. After receiving your deposit, we will compile a cost estimate for the above.
How do you co-ordinate with the wedding photographer?
Because we are well experienced in working with other service providers, we have a thorough understanding of how to compliment your photographers style of working. We generally give them first option and work around their set-ups and/or in tandem if they are open to collaborating. This is our preferred method and we will liaise with you, your wedding co-ordinator or your photographer, depending on the circumstances.
